You are invited to participate in a unique way to remember a loved one or publicize your business, organization, or group by sponsoring a tree at “The Ardmore Tinsel Trail”. It’s a great way to come together and promote community spirit during the holidays. Whether your tree is a work of art, a symbol to honor someone’s memory, or is intended to promote your business, this is an opportunity to participate in what has become an Ardmore holiday tradition.
Christmas trees will be on display around the Ardmore Town Hall for 1 month. Festivities begin Friday, December 1 at 5:30 p.m. with a tree lighting ceremony and Christmas music performed by The Ardmore Middle & High School Choir.
How to Sponsor a Tree:
· Cost is $150.00 (Tax deductible) / Greater Ardmore Chamber Members Cost is $75.00;
· Make check payable to the “GREATER ARDMORE CHAMBER” or you can pay online at the Chamber’s website (greaterardmorechamber.com) – just click on the Tinsel Trail link;
· Tree Sponsorship Deadline is 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 16
· Trees will be live Frasier Firs, 6-8 feet tall;
· Sponsor/decorator is responsible for providing LED lights, decorations & 15’-25’ OUTDOOR CORD;
· Trees will be displayed around the Bryan House at the corner of Ardmore Ave. & 1st St.; and
· Sponsor signage will be provided by the Greater Ardmore Chamber for each tree.
Decorating Your Tree:
· Tentatively, you may begin decorating your tree November 20 through noon on December 1.
· Decorations should be able to withstand the weather.
· We recommend using zip ties, string, or other ties to secure your decorations.
· You are only permitted to use LED lights (NO exceptions).
· You are responsible for supplying a 15 foot – 20 foot outdoor rated extension cord.
· If you sponsor a tree, it must be decorated by noon on December 1. If the tree is not decorated by noon on December 1, the sponsorship sign and tree will be removed.
· Trees will be on display and lite from December 1 – January 1, please check on your tree periodically.
· Decorations must be taken down from January 2 through January 7, 2024. Trees will be removed (with or without decorations on January 8, 2024.
· The Greater Ardmore Chamber is NOT responsible for any decorations that are damaged, lost, or stolen. Please do not use sentimental ornaments.
· Trees will be available for pick-up for local farmers after the event (January 2 – January 8).
